Hard armor plates (HAP)
HAP AK
Hard armor insert plate AK is designed to withstand multiple hits with 7.62 x 39 FMJ, 8.0g (123 gr.), traveling at 720 m/s (2,400 ft/s). HAP AK is ultra-lightweight solution made of 100% PE.
HAP NIJ level III
NIJ level III ballistics insert is designed to withstand multiple hits with 7.62x51 FMJ NATO 9.6 g (148 gr.), traveling at 847 m/s (2,780 ft/s). It is lightweight solution, made of 100% PE. Both, stand-alone and ICW (in conjunction with vest) are available.
HAP III+
HAP level III+ is designed to withstand multiple hits with 7.62x51 FMJ NATO and 5.56x45 SS109. Made of combination PE/Silicon Carbide mosaic. Weighing at only 1.75 kg (3.85 lbs) it is extremely lightweight for the protection level it provides.
HAP NIJ level IV
NIJ level IV ballistics insert is designed to withstand multiple hits with 7.62x63 AP; 7.62x54R B32 and 30-06 M2 AP rounds. Made of combination PE/Silicon Carbide mosaic it weighs stunning 2.7kg (5.95 lbs) which makes it one of the lightest NIJ level IV HAP in the market.
